Chom reab suor! Welcome to Siem Reap, Cambodia. You will be greeted by your guide and driver at the International airport for your transfer to the hotel.

Great way to mark your arrival day is  visit the NGO Phare Ponleu Selpak (PPS) and watch their modern circuit show. Founded in 1994, it is dedicated to caring for vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Battambang. They do this through artistic schools, teaching the children theatre, circus arts, visual arts and music. Since 1998, PPS has produced numerous acts and shows performed all over Cambodia as well as abroad. You will learn about the program and enjoy a revue afterwards including live music, choreography, acrobatics, poetry and burlesque. It’s a beautiful show to start your evening.

Have a late start today, you take a Remouk (tuk tuk) and spend most of the day exploring the amazing temple complex of Angkor Thom, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Visit the ancient city surrounded by an 8m high wall. Angkor Thom was the last capital of the Great Khmer Empire under the reign of Jayavarman VII.

Continue to Bayon Temple in the centre of the city. This 12th century masterpiece is a study in grandeur, its exterior gallery walls featuring extensive, superb bas-reliefs, particularly the east and south galleries.

After a long day, relax with canapés and signature cocktails while we marvel at the sunset with a panoramic view over the surrounding country and the Baray, an ancient Khmer water reservoir.

Enjoy the panoramic view of Angkor Wat from above, as well as fly to see the various remote temples not easily accessible by road.

In the morning, we visit the Ta Prohm Temple. Unlike most other Angkor temples, it has been left just as it was when it was rediscovered, a photogenic maze of trees growing out of temple ruins amidst jungle surroundings, making it one of Angkor’s most popular temples with visitors.

Explore Angkor Wat, easily the most famous and best-preserved of all the temples within the Angkor complex. It is a massive three-tiered structure crowned by five lotus-like towers rising 65 meters from ground level. The centrepiece of any visit to the temples around Siem Reap, Angkor Wat offers many iconic sights for amazing pictures.

The rest of the day is free time at your leisure in Siem Reap. Take a walk to pub street for an Angkor draft beer or enjoy a massage at the Seeing Hands.

After breakfast, you will visit Kompong Kleang floating village is, a settlement of over 20,000 people where houses tower up to ten meters above the water. We are greeted by friendly locals, and we get a glimpse Cambodia’s rural culture and traditional family lifestyle. Enjoy a picnic lunch in Kompong Kleang.

After lunch, we head out to the remote Beng Mealea, around 65 km from Siem Reap. After a short walk through dense jungle terrain, you’ll feel like an explorer when entering the completely overgrown temple. Undiscovered for centuries, Beng Mealea has only recently been made accessible and remains un-restored. It is one of the very few temples where we have the opportunity to climb through, providing a very ‘Indiana Jones’ experience.

After a short flight from Siem Reap, you arrive in Sihanoukville, then transfer to Tatai and enjoy a short boat trip to the luxurious 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. This eco-tourism boutique resort is floating on a river in one of the most unspoilt corners of Cambodia. It has been featured in the New York Times travel section as “bringing luxury to the untamed wilderness”. In tune with its natural surroundings it offers a wonderful window into a disappearing world.

This evening relax on the restaurant terrace, a prime position to watch the sunset over the river and mangrove forests.

• Traveling time: 3 hours
• 4 Rivers is accessible only by boat. To ensure a smooth pick-up at our embarking dock please give us your local phone number or that of your guide/driver and contact us prior to arrival.
• There are two complimentary incoming and two outgoing transfers every day. 
• For Check-in: The boat is scheduled to leave our embarking dock in Tatai Village at 2pm and 5pm.
• For Check-out: Check-out time is before noon, so please be ready to check out at 8am or 12pm, when the boat leaves 4 Rivers for Tatai village.

Today is at your own leisure. Relax and enjoy this small part of paradise or kayak down the river with or without an experienced local guide and explore the mangrove waterways that reach back into the jungle. You may also join a boat excursion to Tatai Waterfall or stroll around the local markets in nearby villages, or perhaps just enjoy a refreshing swim in the river and lounge on the terrace soaking up the tropical sunshine.

In the evening, one of the most popular excursions is the short kayak adventure to watch the fireflies’ night show.

Bid farewell to your resort and give thanks for their hospitality over last few days. You will be transferred to Sihanoukville and take a flight back to Siem Reap for your connecting flight.
