Walk along the most scenic area of Phnom Penh, from Royal Palace along the walking path on the riverside  to boat pier where you board a sunset cruise to relax and watch the magic color pour down on the glittering city. Coming back from the cruise, you can have dinner at one of many fine dinning or local restaurant at this trendy and busy area.

Today visit the Royal Palace and the Silver Pagoda with its incredible solid silver floor. Wander the National Museum, a treasure chest of Angkorian and pre-Angkorian artefacts. Scale the steps up a small hill to see Wat Phnom Temple, the birthplace of Phnom Penh.

Learn about Cambodia dark history when visit Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, housed in a former high school building which was used as Security Prison 21 (S-21). Light your mood up with next visit to  Chmapey Academy of Art, learn about traditional Khmer dance and martial art, parts of the culture of Cambodia which this organization works to preserve, and enjoy a demonstration.

Finally, close your day at the Central Market when the heat already descending. The Central market is perfect place for a sense of the bustling daily life of local people, many photo chance as well as Khmer specialties tasting.

At the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda in Phnom Penh, visitors are required to wear appropriate clothing; short pants (above the knee) or sleeveless tops are not permitted.

This morning drive to Siem Reap – or take the option to fly at extra charge – where you’ll explore the famed Angkor Wat Temple, the symbol of the culture of Cambodia. The largest and best preserved among the many temples in the area, Angkor Wat is the highlight for most Cambodia travellers, and the experience of walking its sacred grounds is not to be forgotten. In the evening, enjoy dinner with an Apsara dance show – a must for any visitor to Siem Reap.

Begin your day entering the South Gate of Angkor Thom, then view the massive stone faces on the towers of the Bayon. Continue to Ta Prohm which has been left just as it was when rediscovered: a photogenic and atmospheric maze of jungle growing up through temple ruins. Explore Banteay Srei, a smaller temple which nevertheless stands out for its ornate red sandstone design.

Close your day Pre Rup, with a spectacular sunset view over the Angkor Archaeological Park.

This morning explore Mechrey “floating village” by boat, cruising past a floating school, farms and houses in this water-borne community. Amidst the greetings of friendly locals, glimpse the genuine lake culture of Cambodia and the traditional family lifestyle.

Then visit a local pagoda, chat with the monks to learn more about Buddhism in Cambodia, and participate in a good luck blessing ceremony. The monks will chant blessings, sprinkle holy water on you, and fasten a sacred bracelet around your wrist, said to protect you from any evil spirits or accidents, and sure to be a tangible reminder of your Cambodia travels after you arrive home.

You will be free for the rest of the afternoon, and in the evening enjoy a performance from PHARE. The Cambodian Circus has long been famous, and this NGO teaching street kids to become circus artists is a regular at international circus conventions worldwide. Enjoy their creative interpretations of modern life and issues in Cambodian society.

In dry season (Mar-Sep), when the water is low clients will visit Chong Kneas floating village instead.
