On your arrival, your guide and driver will greet you at the airport for transfer to your hotel where you’ll have time to refresh yourself.
Later on, climb the steps up Mount Phousi, which dominates the town skyline and offers panoramic views over this quaint town, back at the foot of the mountain, stroll the picturesque streets of the charming old town and browse the night market. Wind down your day with an exceptional dinner at a restaurant where, apart from excellent Laos food, you can enjoy a traditional dance show.

After breakfast you will take a leisure walk to visit iconic sites of the town like National Museum, Wat Mai and The Traditional Arts and Ethnology Centre. In the afternoon, Visit the meditation exhibition at the tipping point of the peninsula, continue to visit Wat Xieng Thong, Luang Prabang largest temple known for its expansive Tree of Life mural telling the story of Buddhism.

Allow yourself to enjoy the day in a slow pace. As the sun sets, walk your way down to Mekong river sand bank to amaze the beautiful sunset and enjoy some quiet time as the day break away.

If you are an early bird then rise early to join the locals lining up to offer food to the Buddhist monks walking back from morning prayers. Visit the morning market where all the vendors from surrounding village gather to sell their products from the garden and have a bowl of noodle and a cup of local coffee before going to the Bamboo project.

Spend the rest of your morning learning about several aspects of the local culture, from crafts to music and food. You will have a chance to learn from a skillful craftsman and to enjoy a hands-on cooking class. Lunch from your own creation.

This afternoon, you drive out to visit an ethnic minority village to learn about their traditions and culture and continue to Kuang Si Waterfall, where water tumbles over tiered limestone formations into crystal clear pools, ideal for escaping the heat. Evening is free at leisure.

Embark on the “sexiest Monsoon Cruiser” to cruise along the Mekong until reaching Pak Ou Cave. Touring ancient sites while enjoying a little joie de vivre. The boat ride allow you to capture splendid natural scenery along the way and observing local fishermen and daily activities along the river.

The rest of the day is free at leisure.

Suggest for dinner tonight is a short tuktuk ride to Pizza Phanluang on the other side of the river and end up at Tagor Bar at main street for a sip of good cocktail.

Make sure you save time for shopping at the night market, best way to bid farewell to the charming and peaceful city of Laos.
